Dubai is gearing up for its inaugural Dubai AI Week, scheduled from April 21 to 25. The event aims to position the city as a global hub for artificial intelligence innovation. Highlights include the Machines Can See Summit, featuring 5,000 visitors and 40 global experts, and the Dubai AI Festival at Madinat Jumeirah, attracting 5,000 business leaders and investors from 100 countries. The week will also host the AI Retreat and the Global Prompt Engineering Championship, with a prize pool of AED 1 million. These initiatives align with Dubai’s Universal Blueprint for AI, emphasizing the city’s commitment to technological advancement. ​

🏇 Dubai World Cup 2025

The Dubai World Cup 2025 is set for April 5, marking the grand finale of an extended 16-meeting Dubai Racing Carnival at Meydan Racecourse. This prestigious event coincides with Eid Al Fitr celebrations across the UAE, offering a blend of world-class racing, fashion, and entertainment. The carnival’s season commenced in November 2024, featuring notable race days like ‘Festive Friday’ and ‘Fashion Friday’. ​

💸 Rising Living Costs Amid Expanding Expat Population

Dubai’s population has surged to approximately 3.85 million, with expatriates comprising 87%. This growth has led to a 16% increase in rents over the past year.
