Hamdan bin Mohammed Graces 2024 Dubai Majlis with His Presence



His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, graced the 2024 Dubai Majlis at Qasr Al Bahr. Co-organized by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Chambers, this annual gathering aimed to uncover groundbreaking partnership opportunities and expedite capital allocation in key sectors to spur Dubai's economic advancement.

In his address, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted Dubai's relentless pursuit of elevating its global economic standing under the visionary guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He reiterated Dubai's dedication to sustainable growth, aligning with the ambitious targets of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which include doubling the city's economic size and securing a spot among the world's top three urban economies.

The Dubai Majlis served as a strategic venue for leaders to progress the D33 Agenda, fostering dialogue among over 200 industry luminaries, entrepreneurs, multinational executives, international investors, and senior government officials. Key discussions revolved around sector-specific strategies, partnership potentials, and maximizing Dubai's competitive strengths to promote sustainable economic growth.

Notable attendees included His Excellency Abdul-Aziz Abdulla Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, and His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. The forum underscored Dubai's unified 'One Dubai' approach, stressing sectoral cohesion to accelerate economic development and enhance public-private collaborations.

Participants delved into Dubai's economic milestones under the D33 Agenda, emerging market dynamics, and ongoing economic reforms to maintain Dubai's global competitiveness. The event reinforced Dubai's stature as a leading hub for business, leisure, and investment, solidifying its image as a vibrant global metropolis.

The Dubai Majlis concluded with a reinforced pledge from the business community to support Dubai's economic aspirations, contributing to its journey towards innovation, investment, and sustainable development on the global stage.
