Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy Showcases North Star 2024 Perks for Chinese Firms


Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, an integral part of Dubai Chambers, in collaboration with the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), has conducted a successful promotional tour across China to spotlight this year's Expand North Star event. Scheduled from October 13 to 16 at Dubai Harbour, Expand North Star is celebrated as the globe's premier gathering for startups and investors, organized by DWTC and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

The campaign traversed key Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, engaging over 330 companies and 19 digital business partners. The primary goal was to showcase the substantial benefits of participating in Expand North Star 2024, highlighting Dubai's dynamic ecosystem and strategic positioning for global business interaction.

During the roadshow, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy facilitated impactful discussions and networking opportunities with Chinese businesses and trade groups. This initiative aimed to broaden the chamber's connections within the digital industry and encourage greater involvement from Chinese firms in the forthcoming event.

Focusing on various digital domains including artificial intelligence, augmented reality, the Internet of Things, blockchain, robotics, cybersecurity, smart city technologies, cleantech, and medical technology, the roadshow also included pitch competitions in each city. Winners received fully sponsored opportunities to attend Expand North Star 2024 and advanced directly to the semi-finals of the Supernova Challenge, a key highlight of the event.

Expand North Star acts as a crucial platform for drawing the global tech community to Dubai, fostering innovation, collaboration, and partnerships with key technology stakeholders worldwide. The event connects top startups, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and global industry leaders to explore growth opportunities and contribute to Dubai's flourishing digital economy.
