Dubai Chamber of Commerce Launches Mexican Business Council to Boost Bilateral Trade and Investment Opportunities

Dubai, UAE – In a strategic move aimed at enhancing economic ties between Dubai and Mexico, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce has inaugurated the Mexican Business Council. This initiative, announced under the auspices of the Dubai Chambers umbrella, seeks to capitalize on the increasing interest among Mexican companies in the vibrant business environment of Dubai.

The establishment of the Mexican Business Council comes as the number of Mexican firms actively engaging with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce has surged to 108 by the close of Q1 2024. This council is poised to play a pivotal role in fostering closer economic cooperation and facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships.

The inaugural Annual General Meeting of the Mexican Business Council recently convened at the Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, where stakeholders outlined key objectives. These include deepening economic relations, organizing collaborative events, and promoting trade and investment opportunities between the two regions.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, affirmed the chamber's commitment to empowering Business Councils worldwide. She underscored, "Our focus remains on bolstering economic and investment partnerships, locally and globally. This initiative is part of our broader strategy to elevate Dubai's stature as a premier global business destination."

This move underscores Dubai Chamber’s dedication to expanding its network of Business Councils, supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to foster international trade and empower local businesses on the global stage. The launch of the Mexican Business Council reinforces Dubai's position as a pivotal hub for global commerce.
